The farm of the da Silva family has an area of only 0.7 hectares, but nevertheless produces a truly exceptional coffee every year. The whole family takes care of the farm and has owned it for generations. The youngest member is regularly placed on the medals of barist competitions and is also a Q-Grader for the Brazilian Coffee Company. Harvesting is done manually and selectively during the "ripening" period. The most commonly grown varieties in this area are: Catuai yellow and red, Bourbon yellow and Acaia red.
